For those that keep wondering why I’ve been so quiet...THIS is why! I put this plan into action just before the pandemic hit and for a while I was on pins and needles praying it would work out...AND IT DID. I’m going back to CPP to finish my degree and do something that has always been in my heart, becoming a counselor to help others especially Veterans. I literally hit rock bottom but the universe believed me enough to listen and the doors began to open. It wasn’t luck, I earned every bit of this because of my military service but I still had to make it happen. It wasn’t going to do it on its own. I so grateful for comedy because I began crossing paths with people that could help make this a reality. Getting my picture on the Ice House wall and now onto a college ID have been two things that meant have the most to me. I don’t know what the future holds but I know whatever it is, it’s going to be something big but meaningful and that’s what matters. Take those risks and find your own path. Life isn’t short, it’s literally the longest thing you will ever do but don’t take it for granted because tomorrow is not promised.
