Hallo zusammen,

vielleicht kennen mich einige schon als Craytons Comic-Blog - Im Netz seit 2009 von wordpress als Blogger, oder unter dem gleichen Namen als Comic-Youtuber auf Youtube. Ich wollte einfach diese Plattform hier auch mal ausprobieren und werde diesen Blog wahrscheinlich mit meinem Hauptblog von Wordpress verbinden um euch alles rund um Comics, Hörspiele und sonstigem Nerdkram hier auch zu bieten. Plan ist es hier meine Beiträge von meinem Hauptblog zu reposten, aber zwischendurch auch eigene Posts nur für diese Plattform zu machen. Mal sehen wie es wird.

The first day of November, which really does not feel like November. This year has not been a normal year and not having a traditional Halloween did not help. I did put some orange lights up this year but it was more to brighten things up then anything. Hopefully next year I will be able to do a little more so that it does feel like Halloween. I may even dress up in a costume for the fist time in a while. Yes I have dressed up at a con but not for Halloween.

I am going to try and make this a weekly post. One of the most important con tips is making sure you have a good pair of shoes. Ones that will keep your feet comfy all day and not hurting. It can be a pair of heels or some flats. For me its tennis shoes but I am going to be trying some Dr Martens at a local con before I try them at a bigger con. Make sure you have good socks and some blister prevention pads. I use mole skin but have also found one by KTtape that is good when you sweat a lot. Mole skin is great if you do get a blister since you can cut it to go around the blister.

Been enjoying some of the SDCC online content since the con was exclusively online this year. I did not check out everything but did do a few things that I would enjoy. I did miss seeing Sideshow Collectibles live streaming from the con which was a great way for people not at the con to enjoy a part of the con. Plus getting to participate in some of their contests even though I was at home was fun.

I did buy a few con exclusive items this year. I ended up getting a Funko Pop that I wanted along with a con exclusive comic cover from Aspen Comics. Funko did have a problem with its site but I was still able to get through. Aspens booth was one of my favorite places to visit during the con since they had quite a few con exclusive booths. I did need to find some of my past con ones and get them into one short box.

I may have to make a big order with BCW Collectible supplies this fall once I do start going through my comics. I did have Barnes and Noble put a comic book price guide on hold for me once they come in next month. As much as I should do the online version, the book will make things easier. I know I will not be able to go through everything at once but I hope to make at least a partial dent.

At worst case I will get a booth at a local smaller con next year and sell some of my books there. I am planning to sell some of them on ebay but may have some luck at a smaller con as well. Plus I can use it to sell some of my collectibles that I know longer want. I know it will be hard at time but I do need to move some items along. Will see if one of the local stores has a trading night.

I will be able to keep myself busy this fall working on some of my comics in the garage since it will be cooler out. I may have to find one of the 6 feet tables we have to set up but can at least start working on this project. may even get a small product photography set up so that I can take some pictures of the books that I plan on listing on ebay.
