I decided to do something special and, since he looks kind of ethereal here, I applied white ink fornthe line work in the hair and the earrings. This was done with a dip pen + comic tip, and Windsor&Newton white ink.
I had some serious trouble with this, since I still have little experience with darker skin tones and I couldn't find a resource in my folder that matched him, and the trial and error process proved frustrating since the tests I liked at a small scale came out sickly and yellowish when applied to a bigger surface... I had to trace the sketch and start over three times before I was satisfied. The blending is a bit sloppy, maybe it always is but it just doesn't show with the lighter shades... Still, I am satisfied with the overall result.
