Working on a Nordic Nights pullover by Jennifer Steinglass. Yoke colorwork knitting is my favorite. Now onto the boring body of one color.

We have the most beautiful October weather, but it is for sure getting colder. Which means that one by one I get all my lovely sweaters out of their summer hibernation. 🙌 This week I mainly wore my Meander Sweater. #meanderSweater. It was the very first sweater pattern that I released and as all my garment patterns is went through tech editing and test knitting before the release. 🧶 I am still very much in love with this design - especially with the colorwork on the body. Here are the beautiful colorwork sleeves of my Abenteuer Sweater for this weeks #sleeveappreciationsunday by @knithalie and @abbygoodknits 🧶 I feel like small details matter a lot - they make the different between an okay design and a great one. When I knit my Abenteuer Sweater I experimented with several different ways to end the sleeve. I also made a version where I used the purple contrast color for the whole ribbing below the colorwork. But that looked just too massive and I felt it whole design lost its light and airy vibe. It has been quite a while since I shared a picture of my Abenteuer Sweater. #abenteuerSweater 'Abenteuer' is the German word for adventure. I chose this name for this sweater because I knit the first sample that you can see in the picture above during a roadtrip through Germany that I did with a dear friend.
