Les traigo un tributo al mar y a los seres que viven en él y de él, a sus heroes y leyendas, a los viajes realizados y nuevos puertos por descubrir, a los momentos disfrutados y al tiempo perdido frente a él, a su naturaleza y vida que es en tantas formas la nuestra.

La relación con el mar, para quien la tiene, es de por vida. Como el vínculo al primer hogar que uno recuerda, con un pequeño matiz: que este nunca nos ha pertenecido, aunque muchos lo consideran parte de su ADN.

Su aroma, sus colores y texturas, su música y su baile se graban en la memoria; Lo hayas disfrutado durante los veranos o todo el año. En la superficie o en las profundidades. Si te has quedado prendado del ocio entorno a él o por la vida que alberga. Si son sus historias y leyendas las que te han tenido noches en vela o quienes te las han contado. El mar forma parte de nosotros, literal y literario.

Cuidadito con él, pq hipnotiza el vanidoso, es un ladrón del tiempo. Celoso, capaz es de adelantarse a su momento engalanándose en lentejuelas cualquier mañana de invierno.

Hoy hace sol y calor, día atípico en esta zona de interior ahora; escribo en la calle, con los pies descalzos e intentando quedarme para mi con todos los rayos de sol. Pienso en el mar, cierro los ojos y en seguida puedo hacer mentalmente ese recorrido que tan bien conozco: Entierro mis pies en la arena fría de la playa mientras respiro el olor a salitre y plantas marinas. Reclino mi cabeza hacia atrás disfrutando de la brisa. No es un momento ni lugar especifico, pero sé que te he llevado conmigo al mismo sitio.

I present you a tribute to the sea and to the beings that live in it and from it, to its heroes and legends, to the trips made and new ports to discover ahead, to the moments enjoyed and the happily stolen hours, to its nature and life that is in so many ways ours.

The relationship with the sea, for those who have it, is for life. Comparable to the link to the first home that we can remember, with a small nuance: it has never belonged to us, although many consider it part of their DNA.

I lay my head back enjoying the breeze. It is not a specific time or place, but I know that I have taken you with me to that same spot.
