And it was quite chilly today! I woke up at 630 to make sure I had plenty of time to eat breakfast and digest and still be out fairly early. And this run went well! I had hardly any pain and just felt good on this.
And this is actually almost exactly as fast as I ran my 14 miles on Saturday, except this pace was almost a minute faster average than on Saturday. So a BIG win for this run :)

It was cold, but I didn't feel that cold while running. The wind wasn't blowing so it really wasn't that bad. And the sun was out, so that just makes me all kinds of happy.
I did feel tired on this run, so I had two GU gels. But when I run for almost 3 hours that's definitely okay ;) My main complaint for this run is my water bottle froze! I couldn't get any water out of the top, so I started screwing the top off when I wanted water, but eventually that froze too much for me to screw it back on! Frustrating, but not the worst thing that could have happened. To be fair to the water bottle, it was really cold!
I'm really happy to have completed this long run since I won't be able to this weekend. You just have to stay flexible in your schedule and make time for training. Gotta stay dedicated!
