LISTENER PROFILE 004 :: Chérmelle D. Edwards
Tell us a little bit about yourself. What do you do? Where do you live?
I’m a writer, photographer and an artist. I also am the founder of The Coffeetographer – an independent online webzine dedicated to covering, documenting and curating the revolutionary culture of specialty coffee - driven by photo essays, interviews and short form posts.
I’m bi-coastal – I live in New York majority of the year and I spend the winter season in Los Angeles, my hometown.

How’d you hear about Noon Pacific?
I believe it was on 8tracks, I saw it pop on on a listeners profile and then I followed it online and discovered that it wasn’t just a mixtape but a weekly mixtape. Needless to say, I was really excited.
Where and when do you typically listen to Noon Pacific?
I usually listen to Noon Pacific on Mondays. Most Mondays I’m at the desk so I can catch it at Noon. But if I’m not I’ll listen to it outside of the office through the app on my phone.
What has kept you coming back and listening week after week?
I love discovery. I love hearing new music and I really enjoy hearing the taste of others in music, its like having a virtual conversation with them through selected songs. I’m curious and I’m hooked on, what will the ten songs be this week.
If you could change one thing about Noon Pacific, what would it be?
I wouldn’t change anything for now, but I would like an artist note or the like on the artwork for the mixes each week, I think that would be really cool; I love art!
Why do you choose Noon Pacific when there are so many other options out there?
Honestly, I don’t know many other options for weekly mixtapes at noon.
What’s your all-time favorite mixtape?
That’s tough. I started listening in the 80 mixes. I think 92, Mr. Spoils Mixtape, then 102 is close by nanosceonds.
Anything else you’d like to share?
Keep the mixes coming.
