Au where Mumbo decides to turn evil for whatever reason and Grian's just like: ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ guess we're evil now

So ya know how Mumbo turned himself into a chicken in a computer? Like an hour after he wakes up, someone starts breaking into the casing in the back, and eventually chicken Mumbo looks up to see Grian smiling at him.

Au where Grian is sick as hell and ends up fainting because he refuses to rest. Mumbo's the one who finds him and starts to worry, and takes him to his nest. When Grian wakes up Mumbo's still there and he's pretty out of it and begs Mumbo to come lay with him, but Mumbo tries and fails to explain to him that they broke up a couple months ago, but Grian is very determined to get cuddles. And Mumbo's not opposed to cuddles, but also Grian was the one who broke up with Mumbo, and maybe just maybe Mumbo's still very in love with him, but he's respecting Grian's wishes. Eventually Grian starts crying and Mumbo just gives in and lays down. Grian quickly cuddles up to him and makes all those bird noises he learned awhile ago are meant for mates. Mumbo takes care of Grian for the next couple days while he's sick, and by the time Grian can form thoughts again, he just pretends he's still out of it. Because he wakes up in Mumbo's arms, and he's gently running his hands through his hair, so Grian just snuggles closer and lets out more bird noises. Cause the reason he broke up with Mumbo was because of how much time Mumbo spends building or doing redstone, or anything other than spend time with him.

Grian and Mumbo are married and have been living in Mumbo's childhood home since his parents moved out. They've been secretly trying for kids but haven't had any luck. Mumbo has told Ron about them trying to have kids, but he's been sworn to secrecy. They stop at Big Ron's every other day to get redstone for Mumbo- so naturally, they become acquainted with Ron and, of course, the store's robot assistant, Grumbot. But that also might be because Mumbo's lived here his whole life and helped build Grumbot. Fun fact, Grumbot's name is from when Mumbo was crushing on Grian- He never told Ron where the name came from, but he confessed it to Grian after they got engaged. Anyway, Mumbo always brings Grian with him (because Grian low-key has separation anxiety and hates being away from Mumbo, but that's not important). Whenever they come in, Grumbot gets really excited because he refuses to stop calling Mumbo his dad. So naturally, when he meets Grian, who was introduced as 'Mumbo's boyfriend,' he instantly starts calling him dad as well. Also, Grian always gushes and plays with Grumbot whenever they come over. One day, when Mumbo and Grian come in, Grumbot runs up to Grian, who, of course, starts playing with him. As Mumbo talks to Ron, he mentions that the shop's not doing well, and while he's not closing the shop, he needs to cut down on expenses. So Ron points out how well Grumbot gets along with Grian and Mumbo and how much he loves them. He then offers to give him to the 2 since they're having trouble with having kids. Not as a forever fix, but it would help with Grian's avian instincts obsessing over having kids. Maybe give it something else to focus on. Mumbo likes the idea but says he needs to talk to Grian about it before they make it final. Grian and Mumbo leave after a while, and Mumbo brings it up over dinner that night. Grian very excitedly agrees, and Mumbo says they can think over it until the next time he needs redstone.

Au where Mumbo doesn't have a soulmate and he's really sad about it because all the other Hermits do so he's just surrounded by coupled soulmates but he can't have that so he feels excluded sometimes.
