With the recent ts4 bs news, I wanted to stop being negative and be positive for a second lol. Now that I'm in a good place with my editing, storytelling and sim style in general I thought I'd just give a shoutout to all the simblrs who inspired me, whether that's in terms of editing styles, writing/storytelling styles, etc. because I wouldn't be where I am rn without this inspiration! The blogs I tag also have genuinely interesting gameplays (or stories!) that I have fun reading and have read more than once.

This is kind of long, but hey I've read a lot of sims stories/gameplays over the past almost 4 (!) years😅Everyone on here has at least one thing they did/do with their storytelling, editing, and/or sim style that I love and wanted to take inspiration from.

I DID IT! My first ever cc conversion from ts4😭I almost cried and rage quit several times but I finished it! Shoutout to @nightospheresims for the detailed tutorial bc I really had no idea what to do before watching it lmaoo

Currently Watching: Alice in Borderland (kind of like a Japanese Squid Game? It's really good, the main actor is super cute, the show is tense and nerve-racking, and I get to practice my Japanese! Perfect combo)

Currently Reading: Wish You Weren't Here by Erin Baldwin (you know that time in Spongebob when Patrick's mouth turned into a vacuum and sucked up all the cookies? That's me with lesbian YA novels lmao)

Ya girl officially has a degree!!🎓This month I completed my BS in Early Childhood & Childhood Education🥳Now onto substitute teaching and getting my master's!

Teaching is all I've ever wanted to do so I'm so thrilled I loved my student teaching experience. I'm hoping to get a full time position by the summer! For now I'm subbing so expect (unfortunately) fewer posts, though I'm going to try and play a lot to fill up my queue. I need some time to adjust to working again after the break😅

Oh, and I have a gf now too😊💞

I saw @changingplumbob do this and I wasn't tagged but I wanted to do it anyway! I always love showing love to other simblrs because we're such a great community and pretty much everything on my own simblr is inspired by other simblrs I follow!

There are 5 categories:

I can't stick to just one for some of these, so sorry😭

Favorite Gameplay Simblr

I'm a gameplay simblr fan 100%. I love seeing casual gameplay, especially if it's generational and there are lots of generations. I like storytelling too, but gameplay is the heart of simblr for me. For this category I'd probably go with @biffybobs, @cowplantcalamity, @tulipsimss and @deathbypufferfish.

2. Favorite Edit/Render-Making Simblr

This one's hard because I get my editing inspo from a lot of different blogs! If I had to choose, I'd say @solacewhim and @luvlian.

3. Favorite CC Creating Simblr

I use a ton of cc in my game, so I love hundreds of creators. But when it comes to creators that I download probably 99% of stuff from, it's @powluna and @ravensim! Infants, toddlers and children are so neglected by EA and even the CC community, so when a creator makes lots of quality cc for them, I just have to download everything! I also love how Powluna does tutorials for new cc creators- I actually made my first ever piece of cc thanks to her tutorial on youtube.

4. Favorite Storytelling Simblr

Since I'm typically not a storytelling kind of simmer, I don't follow a lot of storytelling blogs. So if I like a sims story, that's a big sign it's a good one😂For this one it's @changingplumbob and @cinamun, no doubt about it. I genuinely look forward to their story updates like it's a good tv show and feel a connection to their sims because of the way they write their characters. When I read their stories, I get the urge to do some storytelling myself.
