Lush Coalface Cleanser A LA TRES' QUICK REVIEW I’m a die hard user of Dark Angels, but also have a vendetta against plastic containers (regardless of the whole bring 10 back thing).
Brew #263: Carrig Brewing Co. Coalface Black IPA
ABV: 5.5%
Served: From the fridge
Aroma: Light chocolate, malt, coffee and some mild fruit
Pour: Cola black with an off white froth dissipating to a skim
Taste: Beautiful coffee kick and sweet malt toffee underneath with medium carbonation. Finishes on a light dry hop bite. Not overly hoppy and acts more like a porter on the palate but it’s fresh and crisp enough for a summer’s day.
