Just watched 1x05 Criminal Minds "Broken Mirror". One of those episodes that I'll never forget. That I still remember exactly how I watched it for the very first time back in 2006 (when it first aired in Germany). Such an intense and nerve-wrecking episode.
I just had to watch it again cause Elisabeth Harnois (Morgan Brody from CSI) is in it. Twice. She plays twins. It was pretty cool to see baby Elisabeth from 10 years ago (wait what, okay maybe 9.5 years when they shot this episode).
Also, Elle is such a badass in this episode. Knocks the unsub out like nothing and then puts her foot on .. a very painful man-part, so that he told them where to find the other girl. Bamf. Don't mess with Elle. Also I love her quote that says "The men I hunt down are cowards. For the most part, they target the weakest members of society: women and children. There is nothing I'd rather do more than put the bastards away."
And baby Reid, too adorable. Also, the famous line "Our conscious mind can process sixteen bits of information per second; our unconscious, however, can process eleven million. Yes, yes I can really read this fast" is from this episode.
Pregnant Haley is in it, too. Talking to Hotch on the phone while she's at the hospital. Being super sarcastic when she says "But it's my turn to roll over to the left side in 10 minutes, so that's gonna be a thrill". Aww baby I miss you.
The scene where Gideon disconnects the phone all the time is super painful to watch. Cause you're just like "What the hell is he doing, he's gonna get her killed" and you see Trish's father and sister suffering and crying and it's super nerve-wrecking and all that. Oh boy. But I miss Gideon. I liked him. And I need to rewatch seasons 1 and 2 because of him and Elle.
So yeah.
