This next set from the Book of Forgiveness opens with quite a traumatic first two. Obviously it’s every gay man’s worst nightmare to have one’s partner abducted by evil clowns. It was mid summer and we were shopping on Bold Street and Kev was offered a balloon by a passing evil clown. I immediately saw the danger. Tragically, in his innocence, he was lured away into a clapped out clown car never to be seen again. I think this may have happened or it could have been a false memory since he is currently playing on his PlayStation in front of me. I guess I’ll never be certain... Plate three and four are the design and finished piece for another diptych of the Book of Leviticus set in concrete, some quantum and the lovely Jason Manford with a Bacon flavoured pastiche of him; following that was some advice from the local authority and some of the current saints at the time including Geoff Molyneux, Peter Tatchel and Anthony Peak and my lovely Jasmine sitting next to my cousin Kevin the paramedic. I have no idea who Viktor Bout was but I imagine he may have been innocent of whatever he was accused of on account of his sad eyes and general build. It’s why I must never again be called for jury duty. #sketchbook #clownhorror #evilclown #lured #journaling #drawing #nostalgia #archiving #ideasdevelopment #saints #assemblageart #queerartist #liverpoolartist #falsememories #deepfear (at Toxteth, L8) https://www.instagram.com/p/ChU0NGOM9gT/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
