[PM]: Mitch: Oh me? I’m... Mostly fine. I fear my reputation has been tarnished slightly, but I can live with that. The fact that the ‘big bad imposing ksfs student has sad feelings’ might not be a terrible thing to uphold. I’ll take care mind you, this is not about pride, nor me trying to prove anything. The girl’s god a vendetta and I’m giving her the opportunity to see if she has the strength to put it through.

Not strong enough. He still wasn’t strong enough. It didn’t matter what he did. How hard he tried. He still wasn’t good enough... His attacks weren’t good enough. He couldn’t protect his family like this. He couldn’t protect anyone like this.

A sharp turn on the heel, a spear thrusting forward and he slipped, falling face first in the sand, where he laid for a second before pushing himself up, spitting out some sand and breathing heavily, staring down at the sand.

He was still not strong enough.

He could be stronger. He could be stronger. He needed to be in control of his emotions. He could be stronger. He needed to be in control of his emotions to be stronger... He needed to.. He needed to...

A strangled noise broke through as he rubbed his arm over his face, tears gathering in his eyes, though freezing the second they dared touch his skin.

He failed Drake.

He failed Vixen.

He failed Atash and his mother through failing them. He was supposed to be the golden boy. He was supposed to win everything. He was supposed to know the answer of everything.

Lips pursed, he glared up, fingers gripping at the spear as he pushed himself up again, taking in a deep breath before letting an icy look cover over him as he steadied his stance.

“Look at my beautiful babies.” whispered the woman, gently resting one hand to Jamila’s right cheek, while resting the other hand to Chandani’s left cheek. “You’re both growing up so quickly. Ya’ll end up forgetting your old mama.” stated the dark-skinned woman with a soft smile, causing the youngest daughter to gasp and turn around, looking up at her mother.

“I would never, mama!” she cried out, wrapping her arms around her mother’s waist and pressing her face against her stomach. “No-one could ever forget you! You’re beautiful and powerful and you make an appearance wherever you go!” she cried out, causing the older daughter to chuckle.

“Her appearances are outstanding. I think it’s the flowers, mama.” hummed Chandani, shooting her mother a look as the older woman laughed and gently reached out, giving her earlobe a light tug. “You precious little thing.”

“Maaaam. I’m not a child anymore.” huffed the girl, causing Jamila to giggle and peer up at her older sister.

“Lil’ thing, lil’ thing!”

“Maaaamaaaa!”

“Now don’t tease your big sister, Jamila.”

“Precious babyyy!”

“Uggggh, maaaam!” cried out the older daughter, making a face before holding up her hands and making claws out of them. “Perhaps this precious baby will have to show the strength hidden.. Come here you!” she called out, causing Jamila to squeak and let out a laugh before she fled, Chandani rushing after her.

A smile curled around Shanella’s lips before she turned to look in the mirror, a worried glint in her eyes.

Seth: It was... unnecessary, over the top, and frankly assinine.

Marina: If this child decides to use a tragedy such as the Prism Plateau Massacre as fodder for his bigotry and hatred, then he got what he deserved.

You ever play those strategy games when you were a kid?

Those games where you got to take over the world and one kid likes to stack their pieces all over the map, sticking their piggy little fingers in everyone’s pies? And then towards the end of the game they end up spread so thin they get devoured by the players who picked one or two areas to focus on?

Celeste is... Nice? She keeps to herself and makes for an excellent study partner. Probably my favorite teammate if I’m ranking them.

Chevalier is. Tolerable. We have our discourses. But at the end of the day he gets it done so I can’t really complain I guess.
