im halfway through mizael and i originally wanted vectors out on april 1, but at this point dont think that goal is possible.

i am extremely tempted to say gertrude for lab partner, but having to spend any amount of time in close proximity to either peter lukas or elias makes me want to Implode. so i’ll have to go with gertrude for the elevator, bc she probably has some explosives in her purse or somthin that could help us get out, elias for lab partner cuz he probably would get work done even if he would be a bastard about it, and peter for mcdonalds employee trainer bc if i did something wrong he would just fade into mist and not call me out on it

& I feel that about the imbalance dude!! Like there are so many things unresolved because I feel like so much of Jon's internal conversation about trusting Martin jad to happen when Jon was just...alone? Making conscious decisions about not being paranoid because of his guilt around Tim's death and how bad their relationship was leading up to it bc of Jon's actions. Like I think the Martin that Jon is clinging to is very much an Idea and like there's genuinely interesting potential around them having to Actually get to know each other after so much had happened in the space between them but I feel like that's a very far cry from how people read it. Like the imbalance is so real!! It's hard to read any of it as romantic on Jon's end because it's so conscious and so little of it involves actually getting to know Martin and make ammends for being a massive dickhead to him lol.
