-Their species is called Nefi, based on the Ancient Greek word for cloud.

-They don't have gender. Yes, they use he/him pronouns and call each other brother, but that doesn't make them men. (This was based off the fact that all the relevant ones in canon sans one are men. In other words, trans girl Euphrasia)

-They reproduce asexually. In their true, cloudy seraphim forms, Nefi seperate a piece or rarely pieces of their cloudy selves and those pieces go on to develop into children. It's not very fun, what with the ripping a piece of themselves off, even if they are cloudy.

-Once the children are made, they are taken and raised communally. The concept of parents and siblings isn't really a thing.

-Asexuality is the norm.

-Romance is treated kinda like friendship plus. The plus? Touch. They are a rather reserved culture.

-Marriage isn't a thing.

-Their humanoid shapes have barbie doll anatomy.

-Related Nefi don't look alike in their humanoid shapes.

-They don't actually control destiny and are insted more like the universe's record keepers.

-The feelings of superiority are off the charts.

Because in truth Wu’s powers are incredibly OP. And had he tapped into his Dragoni heritage the timeline would’ve been messed up. Some events end too quickly. Others just straight up don’t happen.

Everything would go off the rails, hence they nerf him for the sake of the plot. Just- make it so he never thinks to use his abilities.

They did do this with Garmadon too at first. Though to a slightly lesser extent.

But then it got to the point where it was less for the greater good and more just nerfing him for no reason.

Could Kingdom writing the Crystalized Arc:

Scribe #1: "Uhm, with all due respect Master Writer, why does only Lloyd need to embrace his Oni side? Wu is also part Oni, even more Oni than Lloyd is. Shouldn’t he also be a part of this?"

Scribe #2: "Also why does he not even TRY to achieve Dragon Form? I feel like giving him mechanical wings instead is some form of insult considering his heritage. Plus he isn’t even using the essence of Creation. Like, at all."

Scribe #3: "And we’ve been letting Garmadon use his powers willy-nilly for over a year now. Why do we continue to handicap Wu?"

Master Writer: "At this point it’s just for the bit."

So far we have 3 confirmed realms that house sentient anthropomorphic animals. The Serpentine are the only ones who have been semi-confirmed to have a chance to be related to Chima. So I think it'd be really funny if most of Chima ends up vibing with people from the Wyldness WAYYY better than the Serpentine. Just to be annoying

Kuromi [In the Cloud Kingdom]

Maybe she left or was banished for wanting to be part of Ninjago instead writing about it.

This could be an interesting way to explain where she gets her knowledge…like how she knew her kid was a child of a prophecy and why she was so absent

Misako lost her husband and was left alone with their kid, she somehow finds out that father and son are meant to fight each other, and Misako falls back onto what she knows

She was raised in a society where living is dictated by writings, and to go against that and take action is a crime.
