Hiii I'm super new to the ff fandom, and I wanted to request to fluffy domestic hcs for Cloud, like you have for Sephiroth? I'm a little obsessed with my boy :)

-If I say how you met it can go so many different ways:
1. You grew up with him in Nibelheim, but he over looked you because he had tunnel vision for Tifa. You move alongside Tifa to sector 7, where he remembers you but very little; and connects to you more due to the very fact you didn't know him like Tifa did. So he doesn't have to be the hero he has to be for you.
2. You make a connection with him during the second half of the story, when he begins to remember everything that happened and he's vulnerable. Sooo you both connect more in Advent children (the best movie ever btw)

-You worked at the bar alongside Tifa basically since you both found avalanche. You worked when she went out on missions, eventually finding yourself face to face with Cloud again. Tifa found him laying half alive near the train station, it seemed like fate brought them together. But he didnt open up to her (according to tifa).
Cloud clearly wasn't a big drinker either, he'd order some random drink mumble about hating alcohol but drank it anyway. It was quiet just you, him and Marlene napping in the back. "What was Nibelheim like after I left" he asked in a quiet tone, "it was like you never left not a lot changed... just your mom missing you and distancing herself from everyone".
"What about you, what were you up too when you left" he froze, unable to answer a simple question. Tifa asked the same thing, surley he'd asnwer with the same response-
"I don't remember, I remember getting onto a plane but after.. it's a blur"
You stopped wiping the glass, he was being honest. Something he wasn't able to do at all, not even to Tifa.
-He began to confide in you, going into your apartment at night. Sneaking away from the campfire to look up at the sky, while he recollects what little he remembered and feels.
-Soon developing feelings for you like a little kid having a crush, he'd avoid you during the day and stick to you at night until morning broke. It was very obvious he liked you, alot.
-He doesn't confess, just kinda blushes and looks away while his ears give him away.
-You two only get together because the rest of the gang was tired of hearing you flirt with cloud while he tried to ignore it. The first night in Kalm, before he fought with Tifa. You said something, he said it back- and you two kind of accepted it.
-Things were kinda the same, he avoided you, turned his head the other way to hide his bashfulness. But he also routinely looked behind you, helped you up on your chocobo, offered the good parts of his rations. He did small things in front of the others, behind closed door he was still quiet but close.
-He relaxed and let out sighs of relief, when it got really bad. He'd talk.
-About what little he remembered and how non of it added up, thing he hid from everyone. You're the only one he can trust with it, he's known you since childhood. But not well enough to where he feels, he has to keep up a facade.
-He likes exploring the cities (when you can) with you, trying out the local sweets. Feeding him a spoonful while he repeatedly says this is the last bite, looking over the souvenir shops. He liked being beside you shopping and frolicking, mostly being roped into things he wouldn't do normally. He secretly liked being dragged around and exploring.
-He plays with you hands, when it gets too quiet.
-Kisses are rare but always sweet, he likes to kiss the edge of your eye, tip of the nose, ear lobe, and hand.
-He always pays for you, where does he get the gil? Uhm 🤔
-He secretly likes jpop.
-He's always soft towards animals when no one's looking, scratching cats' ears, petting dogs, running a finger along a birds feathers. Any animal is usually hostile toward him, but if he sits awkwardly and bribes them with food. They warm up to him.
-He has a picture of his mom in his wallet and now you.
-Only eats when your around, and always lets you have a bit of his food. You take a bite first if not he'll explode.
-He cries in your arms when Aerith is gone, and when he memories get too much.
-The real cloud is shy, awkward, and quiet. Like a little teen boy, you soon realized he hadn't changed much since you were both 14. Other than the fact he acted like an ass, and had enough trauma to fund a hospital.
-It all made sense when he finally did remember, because he woke up one day. His best friend was dead in front of him thrusting his buster sword at him to become his living legacy, barely dragging himself to the train station where Tifa found him. A new Cloud, reborn into something he wasn't.
-- Advent Children.
-Clouds' quieter, more thoughtful. He leaves early and gets home late doing god knows what. Always ignoring calls, but he always ends up cuddling you in bed.
-Cloud is also clingier, lingering behind you when your cooking. Kissing the nape of your neck and kissing you goodbye. It felt like he was getting better but you could tell he wasn't.
-Not until the geostigma is lifted can Cloud finally rest, finally find himself. Where he isn't burdened by others promise's and the need to prove himself a hero.
-When he's in the pool smiling he catches your gaze, the first genuine smile you've ever seen on him. Tears well in your eyes when you walk home holding hands, "nice to meet you cloud".
"Oh yeah, guess you've found the real me"

I'd love to write for more cloud bc to be honest he's so beautifully written and complicated, I could write papers on him. I just get scared I won't do him justice. He's such a good example of a unreliable protagonist and there's a reason why he's so beloved, as well as sephiroth. I feel like often times they're both dumbed down to hype moments and aura 😭. Also lwk forget what happened in the original ff7 bc its been so long since i watched it 😓.
