As part of a month long artist residency at Elsewhere, Clint Sleeper restored instruments and old projects to pair with instruments of his own. The intent was to stage duets, open up, if only for a short while, a collaborative platform that considers past artists, himself, and guests at Elsewhere.

To end his residency here at Elsewhere, Clint Sleeper leaves us with a series of video performances on restored instruments with instruments of his own.  Here is 'Appliance Xylophone,' built for duets with 'Singer Songwriter,' a project by the collective, Invisible. 

As a part of his month long residency at Elsewhere, artist Clint Sleeper restored instruments and past projects to pair with instruments of his own.  In 'Songs for Ghosts to Haunt To,' Sleeper partners 'Receiver,' a project made by past resident Kieran Morris, and a mobile device used to transmit electromagnetic signals. 

National Endowment for the Arts Southern Constellations Fellow Andrew Raffo Dewar and artist-in-residence Clint Sleeper animate the museum through a series of duets using electro-acoustic instruments. Raffo Dewar will also lead a performance of his newly composed graphic score, "Material Music".  Bring your instrument or play one of ours.
