Choose a cliché romance trope that I'm absolutely feral over
"Who hurt you!?"/murderous rage upon finding the other beaten up(bonus if quiet)
Symbolic pairs (Sun/Moon, Heaven/Earth, King/Queen, Fire/Ice, etc.)
"Are you okay?" asked by the bruised and battered one/"Thank god you're okay"
"You better not die on me"/Scolding the other for trying to sacrifice themself
Forced to fight (bonus if one of them is controlled)
Cool-down hug
"I changed because I met you."
"I've got your back"/Battle couple/Absolute trust
"I'll follow you into hell" but also "don't go where I can't follow"
Hurt/Comfort
interesting.

“We’re not so different, you and I,” said my identical twin brother.
One thing that funny to Stiles character to me is that he obviously knows the other "weirdo" kids at school at least semi well, Erica knows him slightly before she's a wolf, he knows Boyd well enough to think dropping by his house wouldn't be awkward and he gets the ice rink keys from him, Stiles seems to know more background characters, and of course the way that him and Danny kind of stick out together despite that Danny's bff Jackson hates stiles, and yet Stiles stays really loyal to Scott as his main friend to the point of just sitting alone when they have fights. Also, does Scott just like refuse to hang out with the other weirdos in the beginning, too, cause he seems really disconnected from them despite being a loser at first???
Honestly, ghosts are sorely underutilized in fantasy. Part of that is that they're hard to write, especially in urban fantasy, but part of it is also just that people want to tell the same two plots over and over with no variation. Either the ghost is lingering with unfinished business and has to move on, or the ghost is lingering with murderous death rage and wants to kill you. Can't we have more ghosts just hanging out? Enjoying being a ghost? I've always wanted to do a ghost character whose unfinished business is life itself. Ghost romance is also sorely underrated. It's also cool when ghosts have a their own domain where they hang out, either in the mortal world or beyond. And honestly, I'd love to see a story where a murder-ghost has a redemption arc.
