#cleaning up

There were / are times that I wish I had an editor for these comics lol. But the nice thing about Tumblr unlike IG is that I can go back & fix up past entries. ✍🏻

I’ve been looking back at a few comics in Chapter 1 for a call-back, & I noticed I spelled “Pokétch” wrong lol (why didn’t someone say something?? XD) So I fixed it. =7=;;

Another thing I noticed that I wanted to fix was back then, I didn’t really determine where Sasmu was from (definitely didn’t think she was actually Samantha Himmel from Galar whose name came from a “Japanese / Ainu” mispronunciation).

Back then, she spoke a bit more like a native Hisuian person (not too much so, but enough to bother me), so I rewrote a bit of her dialogue during that first convo with Mizumi & Ingo, adding a reference to her home region after his first memory, as a former “Wyndoner”.

One day, I’ll probably want to clean up some more things, but there was always ONE drawing error that bothered me the most: Emmet’s super long legs in that one panel in Chapter 2, chasing after the Team Galactic Grunt (I also forgot his coat buttons?? DX)

They've been threatened with legal action but they say they will keep trespassing and breaking rules to bring their local river back to life.

A team of local volunteers has been picking rubbish, clearing the river banks and restoring London's River Roding, saying they've got no other choice since no one else is doing it.

I made a lot of progress cutting that stuff up. I was out there for a bit this morning too but I froze my ass. 🥶

It is still very cold here. The daffodils by the side of the house got all excited and shot up, only to be slapped in the face by the cold hand of winter. 😂

The daffodils haven’t done much in the last few days. I don’t think they like that below freezing stuff.

checklist for chinese new year's eve.

just some things i'm doing to clean up my life today and prepare for the new year ahead of me.

deep clean my room

deep clean my closet

throw away any old wrappers / empty bottles + containers

make a pile of donation clothes

organize my hangers & drawers

start a load of laundry

change sheets

sweep & vacuum my room

go through my desk & nightstand

organize my cart

fix up my bookshelf

get organized for my classes

get rid of old notebooks

organize my folders

plan out my week in terms of assignments and exams

get ahead on a bit of work

clean out my backpack / get a new one

organize my pencil case

meal prep for lunches

organize my notion

selfcare

light some candles

do some yoga / go for a walk

oil the ends of my hair & put it up. ( 20 min. )

get out some comfy clothes

dry brush

take a warm shower + wash hair (don't wash your hair on the 17th.)

shampoo, hair mask, condition.

exfoliate, medicated wash, scented body soap

lather in lotion & oil

heat protectant, leave-in, oil & blowdry hair

facemask

nose strip

under-eye masks

teeth strips

manifesting

come up with a plan that we're going to stick to for the next 7 days

easy to make time for manifesting before bed

make a vision board (physically or digitally)

listen to binaural beats, manifestation meditation, or positive vibrational music

do some meditation

practice gratitude for next 7 days (write down every morn/night 3 things your grateful for)

focus on the ONE thing you want really badly, LOA & law of detachment = it's already yours

just want to make a disclaimer, these are things that work for me!!! i'm not saying all of this has to be done, but these are things i'm very much going to incorporate and get done today as i'm preparing for tomorrow.
