My favorite thing to collect has been and always will be comic books.
I particularly enjoy collecting older comics. I prefer that they not be in mint condition. I like some imperfections because of the mysteryβs behind them.
In upcoming posts Iβll be looking at some older Flash comics. We start with
The Flash #107
Written by John Broome with art by Carmine Infantino.
Main story: Solovar contacts The Flash to help him find Gorilla Grodd, who has sought refuge in the underground world of the Bird-People.
The imperfections on the book or things to think about: Has a three hole punch through the entire book. My guess is someone kept there Collection as a kid in a binder for much easier access and storage. I have looked for other issues like this with no luck. Also has a date stamp of APR 23, book was released on June 3, 1959 so this stamp came later. Did it sit on a shelf for a long time or what?
Had a great time doing this super classic piece today, from a design from 1955! Thanks so much!
