In case you hadn't heard today is the legendary Dick Van Dyke's birthday! He was born on this day in 1925. Mr. Van Dyke is most popular for his roles as Bert in Mary Poppins, Albert Peterson in Bye Bye Birdie (originating the role on Broadway and playing him in the film), and Caractacus Potts in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. However you might also know him from his hit television show The Dick Van Dyke show where he played Rob Petrie.
Today Mr. Van Dyke is turning 100 years old and he is still thriving!
