Jake: could always count on the cabin as a place to clear his head when things seemed their cloudiest. His family usually made trips up here together, but lately that seemed like a lifetime ago. katie: decided to drive to the park instead of walking due to how cold it was outside. she was a bit surprised at herself that she even agreed to meet clare but for some reason, she had grown fond of the younger girl. at least, she thought that clare had potential. and katie wasn't one to let that opportunity go to waste. parking her car, she grabbed the blankets from the backseat and started walking towards the playground area. she saw a figure of a girl with blonde hair that shined brightly from the street lights above who was sitting on a nearby bench. katie made her way over to her and sat beside her.
