Ink Girls was a delightful graphic novel, I loved the colouring so much as well!!! And printing presses hold a special place in my heart.

Plain Jane and the Mermaid was so much fun!!! Hadn't expected it to be a laugh-out-loud read for me

I fiiiiiinally read Frankenstein, I loved it! I get why it doesn't hold up to some people's expectations, but as a philosophical gothic horror I really enjoyed it

I'm surprised the author Zohra Nabi is so unknown on Tumblr!!! Deep Dark is an atmospheric middle-grade mystery about a British-Indian girl investigating the disappearances of children who're seemingly being snatched away from Victorian London streets. (Read this person's review for more information, they can put it into words a lot better than I can atm).

Paaz is a Dutch novel whose film adaptation is currently in the cinema. It's about a woman who's suddenly admitted to a psych ward of a general hospital after her chronic depression gets out of hand. It's quite a serious but sometimes lighthearted novel about mental health, depression and suicidal ideation.
