It hits Dani suddenly, like taking on fire from behind — one second they’re bantering with you, the next their brain goes “…oh shit.”

Starts staring at you without realizing it. You catch them and they snaps their head away so fast they nearly strain something.

Gets a little too protective. “I’m not hovering, coño. I’m just… being tactical.”

Rambles when flustered. You ask a simple question, Dani gives you a three-minute answer nobody asked for.

Constantly finds excuses to partner with you on missions. “Teamwork, right? We make a good pair.”

Touch-starved but touch-shy; your shoulder brushing theirs turns them into a warm, quiet mess.

Eventually admits to themselves that the feelings are real when they panic after you almost get hurt, the fear is too sharp to be 'just friendly.'

Clara García

Realizes her feelings in the middle of a strategy meeting, while watching you talk passionately about something. The moment is so strong she loses her train of thought.

Distance, distance, distance. Her first instinct is to pull back because she’s terrified of distracting herself from the revolution.

But then she keeps seeking you out anyway. Not for strategy, not for work… just for you.

Gets softer around you without noticing. Her voice gentles; she actually smiles more.

You catch her looking at you with that rare, tender expression that she quickly replaces with her 'leader face.'

Jealousy appears in small, subtle ways — an arched eyebrow, a tight jaw when someone else gets too close.

She knows she’s in trouble when the idea of losing you scares her more than losing a strategic position.

Juan Cortez

Juan realizes he cares when he catches himself worrying about you instead of his gadgets or booze. It irritates the hell out of him.

Calls it “inconvenient emotional bullshit,” but still checks your gear and ammo with surprising thoroughness.

Tries to flirt his way out of taking his feelings seriously, but his jokes come out a little too earnest.

You do something kind like patch a cut on his arm, bring him materials, and he freezes like you just shot him in the heart.

Becomes surprisingly protective in combat. “Stay behind me, chica. Not because I care, but because I need you alive to carry my crap.”

Gets annoyed with himself when he realizes he actually wants you to think he’s impressive.

The moment he fully understands his feelings: he imagines you dying, and he hates the image so much he has to pour a drink immediately.

Philly Bárzaga

Philly realizes he loves you during a long work session on a vehicle. One moment he’s rambling about mechanical parts, the next he’s staring at you with a goofy smile he can’t hide.

Gets flustered in a very obvious way — dropping tools, talking faster, mixing words.

Wants to show you affection through creations: custom paint jobs, weird but heartfelt inventions, handmade trinkets that “made me think of you.”

Chorizo loves you instantly, which only convinces Philly further. “If the dog likes you, you’re special. He's a genius.”

Becomes extremely loyal and protective. You’re his favorite person to show new inventions to.

Every time you praise him, he glows. Actually glows.

Realizes it’s real when he starts planning a future that has you in it — a workshop you’d share, road trips you’d take, things he’d build for you.

Camila “Espada” Montero

Espada denies the feelings at first because she doesn’t want distractions from the revolution or her responsibilities.

The first sign is how much gentler she is when she trains you — still tough, still sharp, but her corrections become patient.

Gets secretly protective. She positions herself between you and danger without explanation.

Watches you a lot, especially in quiet moments. Her gaze softens before she catches herself and looks away.

Gets irritated when others flirt with you. She won’t admit why, but everyone else knows.

You make her laugh once, really laugh, and it terrifies her because it feels too intimate.

The realization hits when she thinks she might lose you in a fight; the panic is so intense she can’t pretend she doesn’t care.

Bembé Alvarez

Bembé realizes he’s into you when he notices he’s prioritizing your safety over money and deals, something he never does for anyone else.

At first he treats it like a joke. “Careful, cariño, you’re making me sentimental. Disgusting.”

Starts giving you “gifts”, things he definitely acquired illegally, as his version of affection.

Becomes very observant of your reactions; he wants to know exactly how to get under your skin (in a good way).

Teases you constantly, but the flirting becomes genuine. When he says something sincere, he covers it up with humor.

Gets intensely jealous, but hides it under a cool, smug expression. “You can do better than them, obviously.”
