I was thinking about this friend I had after a long long time of me not having any type of relationships and how I’ve really been, throughout all my life, the type to get adopted by extroverts. It was extra funny to me because even though we’ve known each other for like a month, people would literally ask me if I’ve known him for years, but sometimes people just click with each other. He was super into music, like actually making music, so I always wanted to tell him that I thought our friendship was like if he was One in a Million by Pete Rock & C.L. Smooth and I was They Reminisce Over You by Pete Rock & C.L. Smooth, because he really was that outgoing type of person that loves that type of beat and I’m more of a bummer, that’s into moody, melancholy music, that’s a bit more and depressing. I think he would’ve gotten a kick out of that.
I don’t know. I guess I’m feeling particularly lonely right now. Which is why I’m thinking about past relationships. I do wonder what he would think about me being trans.
Anyways, in the off-chance anyone reads this, feel free to recommend music that is moody and melancholic . My preferred sounds are rap and punk.
