Makenzie: What is it Josh? I was about to go to sleep.

Joshua: Look who it is!

Makenzie: Seriously.

CJ: Hey. Can we talk?

Joshua: I’ll leave you guys to it.

Makenzie: Josh!

CJ: Hey, I want to..

Makenzie: I know Josh told you I saw the picture and you don’t owe me an explanation CJ, we’re broken up, you can move on with who ever you want.

CJ: It’s not like that, I’m not with anyone or even thinking about it. It was a dare, that we both agreed to and I didn’t know a picture was going to be taken and all I could think about is you.

Makenzie: Don’t say things like that! This is hard enough as it is and I miss you, but when I saw that picture I didn’t know what to think and I thought our friendship meant more to you.

CJ: I’m sorry and I miss you too, of course our friendship means the world to me and I hope you’re still my best friend.

Makenzie: Always.

CJ: So what’s been going on?

Averie: If you’re going to make your move you should do it tonight.

Sophie: I don’t know, he just got out of a relationship. I don’t want to look like I’m trying to hard.

Averie: You’ll be fine and leave it up to me.

Sophie: What are you going to do?

Averie: Sounds like the boys are here. Make the drinks I’ll get the door.

Issac: I’m glad you decided to come, it’s been three weeks.

CJ: It’s been three weeks, but it doesn’t mean I’m over it, but I did need to get out.

Makenzie: Hey, there you are.

Shawn: Hey, just came out here to get some fresh air.

Makenzie: Are you having fun?

Shawn: I am. I’m glad I convinced my parents to stay instead of going to the same place we go every year, and also did for my grandparents, they wanted to go on a romantic cruise. My grandma didn’t want to hurt my mom’s feelings so she was the one who told to guilt trip my parents, because they uprooted me before my senior year.

Makenzie: Your grandma sounds amazing.

Shawn: She is, and I miss her. Oh and thank you for my gift.

Makenzie: Just wanted to remind you I haven’t forgotten about you not ever seeing The Wiz, and you are going to love it so much, that you’re going to want your own copy.  Sooo, you and Evie.

Shawn: Me and Evie. She’s cool, but not my type.

CJ: (Clears throat).

Makenzie: It sucks that you guys are leaving tomorrow 

CJ: Hey, can we talk?

Makenzie: Sure, do you want to go outside.

CJ: Yeah.

Makenzie: It’s really cold out here.

CJ: Do you want to get your coat.

Makenzie: No I’m fine, and before you start you’ve been kind of distant since you got here.

CJ: Makenzie I love you so much, but..

Makenzie: But now you want to break up.

CJ: Makenzie, I’m just being realistic. We keep missing each others calls and barely talk, because we’re both so busy. Please don’t cry.

Makenzie: So what, because it’s hard, we should just throw this all away. And you expect me not to cry? I’ve loved you since I was ten years old and you’re telling me it’s over.

CJ: I love you too, but when is the next time we’re are going to spend more than a week together? We’re going to different colleges and my coach says I have a really good chance of going pro.

Makenzie: And there it is you don’t want me to interfere with your pro career and we were always going to different colleges.

CJ: But at least we had this year to figure things out, but then distance happened, and you know that’s not it. This sucks! 

Makenzie: I get it, doesn’t mean that it doesn’t hurt.

CJ: I love you, and I always will.

Marina: I never really thought about it, but Shawn and Evie, would make a cute  couple.

Makenzie: I love Evie, but I don’t think she’s Shawn’s type.

Marina: Oh really, then who is Makenzie?

Makenzie: Huh? Oh look, there’s CJ. Hey babe!

Marina: Makenzie, this conversation is far from over.

CJ: Hey, so EJ really wants to do karaoke, with us.
