Ingredients: 1 1/2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs. 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted. 1/4 cup granulated sugar. 1 cup fresh orange juice. 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice. 1/4 cup fresh lime juice. 1 tablespoon finely grated orange zest. 1 tablespoon finely grated lemon zest. 1 tablespoon finely grated lime zest. 1 cup granulated sugar. 4 large eggs. 1/2 cup heavy cream. 1/4 cup cornstarch. 1 cup mixed berries such as strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries, for garnish. Powdered sugar, for dusting.
Instructions: Set the oven to 350F 175C and heat it up. Put chocolate cookie crumbs, melted butter, and 1/4 cup of granulated sugar in a bowl and mix them together until they are well mixed. Put the dough in a 9-inch tart pan and press it into the bottom and up the sides. Once it's done, take it out of the oven and let it cool. Put orange juice, lemon juice, lime juice, orange zest, lemon zest, lime zest, and 1 cup of granulated sugar in a saucepan. Over medium-low heat, bring to a boil. Mix the eggs, heavy cream, and cornstarch together in a different bowl using a whisk until the mixture is smooth. Pour the hot citrus juice mixture into the egg mixture slowly while whisking all the time. Put the mixture back in the saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring all the time, for about 5 to 7 minutes, or until it gets thicker. After the crust has cooled, pour the filling on top and smooth it out. Put it in the fridge for at least two hours, or until it sets. Sprinkle powdered sugar and mixed berries on top before serving.
