Guilherme Boulos, candidate for São Paulo federal deputy for the Socialism and Liberty Party (PSOL), reported on his social media that he was threatened by an armed man on Friday afternoon (September 9, 2022), during a campaign in Greater São Paulo. "A man shouted 'Here we're Bolsonaro!' when he refused the pamphlet from our hands. Then he said he was armed and put his hand on his waist, on the handle of the weapon.", says the post.

On the following day, presidential candidate Ciro Gomes (Democratic Labour Party) suffered an attempted aggression in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul. Initially, the presidential candidate's team stated, through a note, that the aggressor, identified by the name of Lisandro Vargas Vila Nova, was armed, but when he was removed from the scene by federal police and searched, no weapon was found. The man said he was armed and shouted "Here we're Bolsonaro!", then went on top of the entourage and even physically assaulted members of the crew.

Twice in these elections so far has a Lula voter gotten killed by a Bolsonaro supporters.
