Ever used a dream as a base for a story? If so, was it a success, or a flop?

I did this a lot when I was younger and that never went anywhere but that was mainly due to me being ten, now when I later picked up writing, no not an entire base, maybe a few elements but I tend to have trouble remembering my dreams in the first place

Is there something you could write about nonstop?

Frankly no, while I do have my fixations at times, I always need to flirt between projects otherwise I get in a rut

On the contrary; What parts of writing a story do you hate?

Having to shove characters between scenes, got I hate it so much, I know you don’t need to include their every waking hour, but you need at least a slight shift in scene and I am bad at it (partly bc with fanfic I can be lazy and end it there)

Did a fan ever push you to continue a story/write more stories?
