Was told to visualize a comfy space. Like a chair and a candle to make it a sacred space. They wanted me to build a whole setting

I'm like. Can I bring my cat to my sacred space 👀

So I pictured Reno there. My late heart cat. ♥

Didn't need nothin' else, just a comfy chair, (sure a candle) and my baby

At first I was just gonna picture him laying at my feet or head but it turned more into he was happy to see me and rubbing his face on mine and purring. And I held him across my shoulder like I always did. And just snuggled and petted him forever.

And as I got sleepier I pictured lying down with him nestled in my arms like he used to do

Fam.

When I woke up a few minutes later toward the end of the meditation

Cinderbelle was nestled in the circle of my arms

Cinderbelle has never done that. I don't remember positioning for that.

It had taken Belle a few days to orient herself after everything was said and done. Hades, Simba, and herself snuck away from town on Sunday afternoon after everything had calmed down to head to Bournemouth for a day or so. She was grateful for it, even if it made her feel guilty. All she had wanted was a twenty four hours of uninterrupted time with her children and her husband and her partner and their family. She had taken several walks on the beach, mostly by herself, a few times with Hades or Berlioz, and once with Toulouse. Each time unwound her a little more, so by the time they dragged themselves back to Swynlake on Monday evening, Belle felt ready.

Ready to face whatever Swynlake was going to be after this. 

When she returned, she made a list of things that they needed to do. Their campaign probably needed to put out a statement. She left that to Hades and Toulouse to craft. She had to go into the office for a brief emergency meeting, but then it would be closed through the rest of the week. Small mercies. 

Then, she reached out to her friends to make sure that they were alright. This varied between a simple text to a phone call, to an invite over without asking how someone was. Belle wasn’t the kind of friend who would bake you cookies and show up at your house, but she tried to be the kind of friend who knew when their friends needed someone. 

And one of those people, in particular, was Ella. 

The gala had been a nightmare. Of all the scenarios the knights pitched and went over, a dozen people dropping from poison had never been one of them. Sometimes, when she closed her eyes, she saw Hades collapsing over and over again. It had unsettled her more than she thought it might, probably because Hades always seemed invincible to her. Probably because he practically was. 

But none of that, probably, compared to how Ella felt. It had only been rumors trickling down that had informed her of Willa’s kidnapping. Belle couldn’t imagine. Well, actually, she could. Which was why she hadn’t said anything to Ella except for: Tea? My place, Wednesday at 5? Bring Willa.

Now, there was a knock on the door. 

“Wiii!” Opal squealed, kicking out her feet and jumping off the couch to run to the door. She reached up like she was going to open it, but stopped when her mother came up behind her. 

“Who do we open the door for?”

“No one,” Opal pouted.

“Good girl.” 

Belle pulled the door open. “Hullo, Ella. Willa. Come in.” 

“Aunt Ella! Willa! Hi!” Opal bounced excitedly as they came into the house and Ella set Willa down. Opal tackled the younger girl in a hug. Belle reached forward to hug Ella too, maneuvering around Bellamy, who was on her hip. 

“Hullo,” she murmured softly.

So firstly the theme song for their relationship is this.

Belle never noticed Cindy walking through town, being engaged in her books and her usual routines which didn’t have all that much intersection with hers. Tbch, Belle had sort of written her off as being like the other women in the town and did not even try to interact.

This all changes when Belle is told by her dad to participate in a local may day type thing because he’s worried about her not having friends and Belle notices Cinderella coming in late in the most gorgeous dress off to the side looking anxious about joining the crowd.

Belle is struck with compassion and other emotions and asks her to dance and they do and Cinderella argues philosophy with Belle and teases her gently but when the subject turns to Cinderella herself she gets shy and changes the topic. Belle does not get it but is really interested. Most everyone in town, including Belle is mostly interested in themselves and what they want. 

The evening drags on, the two go off by themselves and both are enjoying themselves immensely. Belle’s FEELINGS intensify but Cinderella rushes out early and Belle is very confused. 

She leaves behind a glass slipper and the plot thickens.  Belle begins paying attention to what’s happening in town, and Cinderella hasn’t been seen by anyone lately. Belle asks around but no one seems overly concerned, it’s not unusual for Cinderella to not be seen for a while and besides Cinderella keeps to herself, why should they pry? Which Belle has some choice responses about because fully most of her interactions with townspeople are them prying and telling her she should settle down with some nice man.

And Belle has been carrying around her shoe. She insists that it’s really weird that Cinderella would leave behind her shoe but the townspeople are just like… clearly she was drunk it was a party, people do dumb shit. And Belle is like this wasn’t like that, she left in such a hurry and they’re just like  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯  maybe you misinterpreted things, Cindy’s just weird like that.

Gaston is very gross about it as you might imagine and asks when Belle’s going to leave well enough alone with Cinderella and focus on him/marriage.

To which Belle responds… Why would I ever be interested in someone as self centered and conceited as you?

Gaston, being the toxic person he is goes to Lady Tremaine and complains about Belle’s growing obsession with her stepdaughter. For which Tremaine punishes Cinderella, imprisoning her in her room.

After about 3 weeks of no word Belle is freaking out. She’s carrying this shoe around and everyone but her dad is like, was that girl even there that night? You were there that night? Maurice is with Belle and is also concerned about this girl albeit less than Belle is. 

Belle takes Phillipe to Cinderella’s manor outside of town and demands to speak to Cinderella. Lady Tremaine is like “she’s not here” and Belle is very suspicious and fed up and shouts at her. Cinderella hears her and her animal friends stage a breakout.

When Belle sees Cinderella immediately she’s relieved. And then Tremaine starts vaguely menacing Cinderella in front of her and the tone makes things obvious to Belle, who is used to the false niceties of Gaston and she interrupts, running over to Cinderella, “I have your shoe, leave with me?” Tremaine responds for her stepdaughter, “She has duties here” at the same time Cinderella, all blushy, snarks, “I was wondering when you’d come.” 

A/N: Hi so all because of something Feli @roadlesswandered said to me I fell down a whole of shipping Cinderella and Belle. And well here we are. 

Ella still met the prince and they danced. She tried on the shoe and it fit and the prince whisked her away. But soon they realized it wasn’t like that, it was just nice to have someone who saw you for you. Still the prince helped pay off her fathers debts and get her out of her abusive situation. Ella stays at the castle and works as an advisor for the prince for a while but it’s a little awkward when the prince gets married. The queen is great and all and she likes Ella but the kingdom still talk about Ella and the prince. And it’s uncomfortable to in the castle. 

Belle still goes to the Beasts’ castle to take her father's place. The Beast is mean and rude, but mostly has just forgotten what it manes to be humane. Belle doesn't take any of his shit, she refuses to be ordered around. But once the beast learns to ask instead of demand, Belle spends some time with him. They talk and he shows her the library, and he learns to be human. And Belle learns to love him, but nothing more than a friend. She helps him adjust to being a person, and when she decides to leave the Beast helps her find a city that she hasn't been before, mostly because it's in a neighboring kingdom, she gets a small little apartment right near the library she's working at. She's heard tales of Ella but has never met her until she comes into the library.

Belle doesn't realize its her at first, Ella is still living at the castle advising the prince, but she dresses in normal clothes. Nothing like the robes of royalty which is what the citizens expect. Belle treats her kindly and Ella is so thrilled to be treated normal. There’s no weird looks or questioning stares about the girl the prince didn’t keep. Ella keeps coming in to get more books and talk to Belle about what she's read. One day Ella gets the courage to ask Belle out, hoping that she'll say yes. And Belle does
