Crispy Cilantro Lime Chicken is a fragrant and tasty dish made with tender, juicy chicken breasts and the sour flavors of lime and cilantro. The crunchy coating gives the food texture and keeps the tasty marinade inside, making a meal that will make your mouth water and be sure to impress.
Ingredients: 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts. 1/4 cup lime juice. 1/4 cup chopped cilantro. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 teaspoon cumin. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 1/4 teaspoon black pepper. 1/2 cup all-purpose flour. 2 eggs, beaten. 1 cup breadcrumbs. 2 tablespoons olive oil.
Instructions: Put minced garlic, chopped cilantro, lime juice, salt, and black pepper in a bowl. Put the chicken breasts in the marinade, cover them, and put them in the fridge for 30 minutes. Warm the oven up to 190C 375F. Pour flour into one bowl, beat eggs into the other, and add breadcrumbs to the third. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, then dip it in beaten eggs, and finally cover it with bread crumbs. A big skillet that can go in the oven should have olive oil in it. After you add the chicken breasts, cook them for two to three minutes on each side, until they turn golden brown. Place the skillet in an oven that has already been heated and bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and crispy. If you want, you can serve it hot with extra cilantro and lime wedges on top.
