Moth ID - NSW, Australia:

Hello, yes, this looks like a Green Garden Looper Moth (Chrysodeixis eriosoma), family Noctuidae.

Technically not a Looper, since that common name is more usually applied to the Geometridae and this is a Noctuid.

A widespread nuisance in crops and gardens in Australia and New Zealand, with a wide diet. Distiguished from the very similar C. eriosoma by the small silver 's' below the larger silver markings on the wing.

Ctenochares are mostly an African genus with 10 described species usually found in savannah habitats. This one is also found in southern Europe around the Mediterranean, and made it to Australia in the 1970s and in New Zealand in 1981.
