The Veloxannusian Chronomovens are the intelligent species that hails from the planet Veloxannusia in the Festus Star System.
Biology
Veloxannusian Chronomovens age rapidly, growing from infanthood to elderhood within an Earth month before molting back to infanthood. They can ages quicker under stress, some Chronomovens being able to go through the stages of life within an hour. They can make themselves molt early with practice.
Chronomovens got glands in their hands and feet that allows them to manipulate time around objects they touch.
Culture
The Veloxannusian Chronomovens don’t keep track of their age due their planet having a slow rotation and fast orbit much like Mercury. They estimate how old each other are based on what’s their earliest memory of historic events (such as recalling natural phenomenon or the details of specific sport games). They train their memory from a young age to remember as much as they can. Strong memories are commonly found attractive in their society.
All their infrastructure are as good as new since they can reverse the flow of time around anything they touch. This also aids in keeping all their perishable resources from going to waste and speeding up production of products that one would usually have to wait on (such as developing pearls and growing crops).
