What you’ll need (All optional.):

-Yellow and gold candle or candle holders (I use tea lights.)

-Mother Earth statue or candle.

(optional step) Casting your circle and lighting your candles.

Moring

Good morning Lord and Ladies, The Earth, Moon, and Sun. May you look upon me today and bring me luck and fun. So, Mote it be.

Night

Good Night my Lord and Ladies, The Earth, Moon, and Sun. Bring to me sweet dreams, if not sweet then bring me none. So, Mote it be.

Notes: I do hand motions for each god I speak to.

Earth: Hand down in front of me, palm to the floor.

Moon: Reverse of Earth, hand palm flat up to the sky.

Sun: My hand is up, thumb, index and middle finger all pointed. I lift from my right, overhead then back down, to simulate the movement of the sun.

Today's witchy D.I.Y is your own Besom!

A Besom by definition is: "a broom made of twigs tied around a stick."

A Besom can be used in many ways:

Cleansing, purification, protection and more.

The traditional magical formula includes a bundle of birch twigs, a staff of ash or oak, and a binding made from willow wands.

However, this is not the only way, I used what I had around me to create my own. Here is how:

My supply:

-A larg stick fallen from a tree.

- Wild oat or possibly common reed

(I am not amazing with plant identification yet.)

I spoke with the plant asked to take befor I did, during the process I was filled with positivity as I told it about my work. Taking hold of a few and waiting a moment befor cutting. Afterwards I thanked it with some water.

Returning home I sat down and slowly parted each one taking off dead leaves and putting them into my compost.

I then found I had enough for a smaller one to test. So I did. Using brown embroidery floss I put them on with the handle inside then bent them down and around tieing a second one time.

Tada! Two wonderful Besom's! Down side, the reeds did snap during the last step but from afar it's hard to tell.

           😞🚿 when the darkness grows🚿😞                A mental health spell.

What you’ll need: -Your shower. -Soap.(I prefer a bar) -Shampoo.

Start your shower up at a nice temperature that suits you. Before getting intake a few moments to visuals the darkness inside leaking out of you, from your pores (or your aura.) Then step in, take time to fully walk into the water, covering all of yourself in warmth.

I normally start with my hair and let it sit in then scrub my body.

With this in mind take your soap (bar, I would not recommend this step with liquid soap.) And hold it up to The shower head and say:

            “With this soap, I cleanse my soul. Of all the darkness as it grows.”

Now wash your body. Wash off the soap but if you can manage, leave your shampoo in.

When finished with your body, say:

                “With this shampoo, I rinse away any darkness that remains.”

Wash the shampoo out. Stand in the water ones more and close the spell.
