Summary:
Peter held the book in his hand, a small smile he didn’t notice pulling at his lips. It was black with the moon's phases across the top, the tree of life in the center, and made with a soft, almost velvet black fabric. The pages looked well used and were clearly bound by hand, making it look like the old-style spell books Stiles was constantly going on about.
Flipping it open, Peter huffed a laugh, realizing it was a journal rather than an already established piece of literature. Stiles would love it, he mused, sliding a hand over the cover.
Was it odd to get the boy a gift? They’d met only a month before at Derek’s wedding, and while he’d assumed they’d take him home, have some fun, and send him on his way, that wasn’t what happened. Instead of the sex Peter had anticipated, they’d ended up spending the evening in their library, watching Stiles flit from book to book with a level of excitement that sent both his and Chris’s hearts hammering.
