Getting Nearer to the Finish Line
Friday I bought the last of the little doodads for James’ stocking and wrapped the last of the gifts. I’m not expecting anything else to be delivered or to come in from the girls so that chore is done!
Yesterday I spent the full day making Xmas Crack and crock pot candy and baking the Xmas Sweet Bread (which baked up wonderfully this time), I’ll decorate them as we get closer to Xmas Eve so they’re fresh for deliveries. Washing up, clearing up, boxing up. Then making my son’s dinner and then our dinner. I think I over did it cuz I couldn’t even tell you what we had for dinner!
Today it’s a banana bread (to keep everyone out of the Xmas goodies), some broccoli salad for lunch and spaghetti & meatballs for dinner.
Then I have 3 types of cookies to make over Monday and Tuesday. So I think that’s a pretty good pace til Xmas Eve when I’ll stuff the stockings.
Xmas Day I’ve got to make the dinner but it’s not going to be a big todoo like Thanksgiving. Just a roast pork loin with Merlot mushrooms and some sides. Then everyone can graze on the goodies that have already been made and I will sit my ass down and enjoy a couple or four Amaretto Cocktails.

i mostly got clothes and some jewelry (a necklace with a jar of dirt HEHEHEHE)
my big present was a laptop, which I'm mostly going to use for college and schoolwork or just things in general in bed bc yeah.
as i get older, i realize i don't really want that much tbh. like get me one big present and then some little ones and i'll be happy.
i think if I ever ask for anything else, it'd be an L desk tbh. i don't really need anything else.
UNLESS I figure out how and where to put legos, and then I'm rebuying some that had gotten destroyed by my cats because I crave nostalgia.
i'm going to work on my last two or three posts for my witch academy dr then do that Christmas advent calendar like ALL tonight bc yeah I'm SOOOOO far behind. it's by @venusshiftsx
