Recording "Runnin' Up That Hill" today!!! It features my mom also. The song is originally from Kate Bush in the 80s. Ever since Stranger Things season 4 came out it has chart topped the nation worldwide. Every artist has covered this song multiple times in many variations from remixes to rock. No one has done a Christian rap version of it so I got to thinking I wonder what would it be like to make a version of my own. I dug up some sample beats I was listening to from this song on YouTube and then Solitxde became the producer I listened to. The beat was sampled from the episode where Max escapes Vecna and ends with the orchestrated version of the song. It was hard and I resonated with it. I quickly hit up Solitxde on Instagram to discuss the price to sell the beat. Gave him the money so it can be sold. So now I am excited to finally put my spin on it with my mom.
