How do you feel abt chris x clarisse x charles x silena poly ship?
Hi fellow Chris fan, Iām SO glad you asked this. I absolutely adore Chrissengard. Theyāre my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE shipping option for all of the characters included and probably one of my favorite ships overall. Seriously, even if you tried making a formula in a lab to create the perfect balance between tooth-rotting fluff and soul-crushing tragedy, you probably couldnāt make something as good as their polycule.
Since you asked, and gave me the opportunity to yap, hereās my main thoughts for each of the couples in the polycule (under the cut) (Note: I use she/her pronouns for Chris because I personally headcanon her as a trans girl AFSGDF)
ā¢ Chris and Clarisse mean everything to each other. Clarisse continues to support Chris as she heals and struggles with how the Labyrinth affected her, and Chris is Clarisseās safe space, bringing out her soft side.
ā¢ Silena and Chris are each otherās anchors. Chris is the only one who knows about and could understand Silenaās involvement with the TA, and that keeps Silena away from going insane. Silena is also the one who helps Chris with coming in terms with herself š³ļøāā§ļø
ā¢ Chris and Beckendorf find a lot of comfort in each other. Most of the time they spend together is in the forge, where Chris is wholly fascinated by her partnerās craft and continuously suggests him new projects, which Charles takes up with a smile.
ā¢ Silena and Beckendorf were each otherās first love, the ideal Camp Half-Blood love story. They would choose each other over and over again, even in death.
ā¢ Silena and Clarisse are the beautiful complexity of young love personified, but their bond transcends whatās expected of a normal romantic relationship. Theyāre a part of each otherās souls.
ā¢ Clarisseās and Beckendorfās bond is as strong as their bodies šŖ Not only do they share love for both of their girlfriends, but they also trust and respect each other deeply. If thereās one person Clarisse would entrust with a life-threatening mission, itās Beckendorf. No competition.

I think that Silena would be the first person she came out to, her first supporter. With their shared history in the titan army, they trust each other with their secrets, and Chris knows Silena is be understanding towards her no matter what. I think Chris was hesistant to open the discussion at first, internalised transphobia making it difficult. Eventually, she slipped in a casual discussion that, ever since her memory cleared a bit from the Labyrinth, she felt like a girl (and it scared her). Silena stopped in her tracks, and Chrisās heart fluttered, but there was nothing to worry about. Silena got excited, maybe too excited, and she started showering her ānewā girlfriend with makeup and clothing tips. She helped her grow out her hair, and they definitely share a lipstick collection. Clarisse was the second person she ācame outā to, and it almost felt like she didnāt need an explaination. After Silenaās reassurance, Chris was no longer so afraid. Clarisse took the news by staring a bit into the distance and nodding, as if she knew. They spent a minute in silence; then Clarisse kissed her hands gently, and the only thing she said was āGreat to have another girlfriend now.ā.
It took a long time for Chris to accept physical affection beyond that. Deep inside, she was fearful about peopleās reactions to her body, and about learning to live in it again. Itās a continuous journey to accept herself for who she is, after everything sheās been through, but thankfully, sheās not alone.
When the moment came to tell Beckendorf as well, Chris was, once again, hesitant. Charles was not someone she was used to holding deep conversations with ā most of their bonding time had always been her sitting silently, rocking back and forth and watching him work. Silena did her girlfriend duty of preparing them both beforehand, but ultimately, coming out was something Chris had to do. It went unexpectedly amazing. Hearing her talk, the wheels in Beckendorfās mind started spinning, and by the time she finished explaining how she wants to live as woman, he had already plenty of suggestions of gender-affirming gear he could think up. Who knew mechanics knew how to work out such delicate matters?
Chrisās partners support and cherish her. Even when they donāt understand her journey completely, they help how they can. Beckendorf, for instance, doesnāt really get having a gender ( @vincemaxxing mentioned this once). But they absolutely love their girlfriend and would do anything for her to feel good.
