𝙼𝚢 𝙰𝚕𝚕 𝚃𝚒𝚖𝚎 𝙵𝚊𝚟𝚘𝚛𝚒𝚝𝚎 𝙴𝚙𝚒𝚜𝚘𝚍𝚎 𝙷𝚊𝚜 𝚃𝚘 𝙱𝚎 𝚂𝚎𝚊𝚜𝚘𝚗 𝟷 𝙴𝚙𝚒𝚜𝚘𝚍𝚎 𝟷𝟿!!!

It's one of the most bizarre horror movies I've seen. House of 100 Corpes is this really interesting Mashup of Hillbilly, medical, and slasher horror that feels almost overwhelming. There is a multitude of characters with different personalities and perspectives, all clashing and fighting for the spotlight. But despite the overpacked story line its the type of movie you come back to watch over and over again and still notice a different detail every time. Scenes feel cramped and cluttered to promote a sense of claustrophobia. There's random scenes of the angaginosgs talking directly to the camera all while they inflict pain onto the victim sandwiched between the story. This keeps the viewer confused and just as unsure as the real victims. I actually loved the cuts of Baby and Otis talking directly to the camera because not only does it distort your sense of chronological timelines but it also helps to really pull the viewer in put themselves into the victims shoes. I know a lot of people rag on Rob Zombies movies, but I can't help but personally fall in love with his unique sense of storytelling. I certainly understand why it's not for everyone, but i certainly love it. The only thing I can really complain about is the subplot of Dr. Satan and Earl are underground and have a constant slew of new patients fed to them by the Firefly family. Maybe if it was better elaborated upon or foreshadowed better, I would like it better, but as it is in the current film, they feel like characters that came right out of left field. Other than that, i would probably describe this film as a comfort movie and highly recommend it
