After a training session with Night Thrasher, Speedball (Robbie Baldwin) tests out a serum given by Chord, to see how it effects his powers. After the practice he tries to trigger his powers while walking. Along the way, various superheroes like Spider-Man, She-Hulk, Invisible Woman, Beast and even Katie Power all save Robbie Baldwin from triggering his powers (without knowing that he's Speedball). When he returns to the Crashpad headquarters, Chord warns Speedball that the serum might cancel his powers; and Speedball faints, realizing he had “risked his life” trying to trigger his powers all day.
