Can i say i really like how you've set the game up in terms of stats & overall structure. Alot of CoG titles put alot of emphasis on stats. Andhile it's not to difficult i sometimes just wish i could enjoy the story without having to worry about failing a check by 2 points & ruining my playthrough. Also it's reassuring that i know MC isn't gonna croak. Being an in the moment reader i really get into it so thag knowledge gets pushed aside for a bit so it's still suspenseful & enjoyable to play.
Your reasoning for enjoying not having it stat-based is exactly the reason I made Wayhaven that way :D
I always end up point-watching in games with stats and it doesn’t let me just enjoy the flow of the stories!
Wayhaven is definitely more choice-based than stat-based, though the stats are still great for determining variation in scenes, and also some of the fail scenes are great fun to write, hehe!
Thank you so much for the encouraging message! :)
