With rich, velvety chocolate panna cotta and creamy whipped cream, you can't go wrong. A tasty parfait for chocolate lovers!
Ingredients: 2 cups heavy cream. 1/2 cup whole milk. 1/2 cup granulated sugar. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1/4 cup cocoa powder. 2 1/2 teaspoons gelatin. 3 tablespoons cold water. 1 cup chocolate chips. 1 cup whipped cream for topping. Chocolate shavings for garnish.
Instructions: Over medium-low heat, mix heavy cream, whole milk, and sugar in a saucepan. Mix it up until the sugar is gone. Vanilla extract and cocoa powder should be added to the pan. To make the mixture smooth, whisk it together until it's well mixed. Put gelatin over cold water in a different bowl. Wait a minute or two for it to bloom. After the mixture has bloomed, heat it in the microwave for about 15 seconds, or until it turns into a liquid. Stir it into the cocoa mix after adding it. Put chocolate chips in a bowl that can handle heat. Cover the chocolate chips with the hot cocoa mix. Wait one minute for the chocolate to melt. Mix until it's smooth. Strain the mixture to get rid of any lumps and make sure it has a smooth texture. Halfway up the glasses, pour the chocolate panna cotta mixture into them. Put in the fridge for at least four hours, or until it sets. Put some whipped cream on top of each glass of panna cotta once it's set. Add chocolate shavings as a garnish. Enjoy! Serve cold.
