These gluten-free chocolate chip almond bars are not only delicious but also vegan and oil-free. They make for a perfect sweet treat for those with dietary restrictions.
Ingredients: 1 cup almond flour. 1/2 cup gluten-free oats. 1/4 cup coconut sugar. 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce. 1/4 cup almond butter. 1/4 cup dairy-free chocolate chips. 1/2 tsp baking powder. 1/2 tsp vanilla extract. Pinch of salt.
Instructions: Preheat your oven to 350F 175C. In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, gluten-free oats, coconut sugar, baking powder, and a pinch of salt. Add unsweetened applesauce, almond butter, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Mix until a dough forms. Fold in the dairy-free chocolate chips. Line an 8x8-inch 20x20 cm baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang on the sides for easy removal. Press the dough evenly into the pan. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the edges turn golden brown. Remove from the oven and allow it to cool completely in the pan. Once cooled, use the parchment paper overhang to lift the bars out of the pan. Cut into squares or bars and enjoy!
