Interestingly, the Japanese version sticks to the "unending" theme present in both Tempest Riko and a later powerup's name in Chinese (this blog previously used "Ceaseless" for her, which is explained more on her info post), and calls her Riko 生命欲の暴走 (Seimei Yoku no Bousou), or "Surging Desire for Life Riko". Bousou is the same word that's used in Katayama's Menace name in Japanese, 暴走ライダー (Bousou Raidaa), so it's quite possible that this name, while a bit of a mouthful, was chosen to connect her to Katayama as well?
