Everyone knows who Buraikan is. They're the biggest duo in the hip-hop scene, with their cool yet hardcore sound. They're also known for performing in some crazy places, from the Tokyo Dome to a back alley club no one has ever heard of. But most of the time, you can find them at Club Paradox.
And that's when you first heard them.
You scored tickets to a Buraikan concert when Club Paradox came back after being destroyed. Not only that, but they were front row tickets! You couldn't believe your luck! You've only heard of stories about how cool the Club was in its prime. And now you were finally going to see your favorite group in person at the Club that made them famous.
You made sure you arrived early, not wanting to miss a thing! The Club was smaller than you thought it would be, but the stage was massive. You were excited to see what they could do with their Phantometals to fill such a large performance space.
When the concert started, you were already screaming. They came out in a cloud of smoke and heavy bass beats. While Haruomi was cool and calm while he rapped, Chisei was bouncing around all over the place. He was hanging off speakers and scaffolding. He also did flips on the stage and, once, he threw himself off the stage to crowd surf. He passed by you and you felt your hand brush against his. A shiver ran through you at the contact and you screamed louder.
It was a crazy cool concert. While the music was better in person than online, it was the phantoms that really took your breath away. The dragons were just as fun and cool as Haruomi and Chisei themselves. You never thought you'd be so lucky to get such great tickets and to see your favorite artists live.
As you were getting ready to leave the club, a member of security put his hand on your shoulder.
"Buraikan invites all of the front row backstage following the show."
It seems you still had some good luck in you.
You followed security backstage, into their green room. It looked exactly like what you imagined. Brimming with gold and black, Haruomi and Chisei lounged in the back of the room, surrounded by fans. Haruomi was talking to a couple of guys about music, while Chisei was flirting with some girls who looked older than you.
When Chisei saw you, he flipped his perfect golden hair and gave you an easy smirk. "Well, well. I was wondering if you'd show up. How'd you like the show?"
You could feel your cheeks burn as you squeaked out your reply. "It was fantastic!"
He laughed and beckoned you closer. "Is that so? Well, I'm glad you enjoyed it! We don't usually see such young fans at our concerts these days. Isn't that right, Shura?"
Haruomi glanced over at you and shrugged before returning to his conversation.
Chisei just laughed again and sat up to look at you closer. "You are pretty young, aren't you? How did you figure out about us old guys?"
Your cheeks burn even more. "Oh, um, I found one of your albums in a record store. I think your music is amazing! It's even better to hear live!"
With another smirk, he leans back against the worn black leather couch he's lounging on. "Well I'm glad we can still inspire the kids. Especially cuties such as yourself."
You have to hide your face in embarrassment. "Oh, no, I'm not-"
"Sure you are." He replied, sitting up again. "A lot cuter than most of the fangirls who come to our concerts."
The girls surrounding him begin to protest, but he pays them no attention. Instead, Chisei stands up and steps right in front of you. He lifts your chin with a finger and smirks at you.
"I'm glad you had such a fun time at our concert. Gonna come back and see another one?"
You can't trust your voice at this moment. All you can do is nod. It makes him chuckle.
Taking your hand, he presses a feather-light kiss to your knuckles. "Good. I hope to see you in the front row again. But you best be getting home. It's past your bedtime."
You're so stunned and so flustered over his kiss on your knuckles that you just stupidly nod. With a polite nod, you leave the green room. Your heart is beating so fast and your cheeks are so hot, you feel like you're going to pass out. There's no way your celebrity crush was flirting with you, was he? This must be a dream! A beautiful dream you didn't want to wake up from!
Back inside the room, Haruomi lightly shoved Chisei. "You shouldn't do that. You're going to get that poor kid's hopes up."
Chisei shrugs with a smirk. "Eh, it's just harmless fun. It doesn't mean anything."
Haruomi just scowls. Chisei doesn't pay him any attention. Instead, he laps up the attention from the fangirls closer to his age, ones he actually cares about.
