Ok I know there are debates about why (in BatB) the Enchantress would curse the entire castle staff and not just the Beast and while I like and agree with the live action saying it was because the staff enabled and did nothing to try and stop the prince from being cruel and selfish but also I recently had a theory while watching the animated film that maybe her cursing the castle staff inc Chip, who is just a child and was innocent, was the Enchantresses way of trying to get the Beast to consider how his words and actions also affect others than himself and to try and make him feel compassion and empathy for them because it is his fault theyāre all cursed too which would ultimately encourage him to change and be even more motivated to break the curse and not just for selfish reasons
As I already mentioned once, sometimes when I get frightened by a loud bombing sound outside the window at night, I try to imagine my favorite character(s) of the moment comforting me. (Things have been quiet in my area lately, but there's still a lot of tension in the air, and fears of a new escalation.)
My latest (but certainly not last!) piece of Beauty and the Beast fanart, this took me maybe over 5 days to complete, and it's probably the most self-indulgent thing I have ever dared to draw in years.
Not only is it my first time drawing Cogsworth, Mrs. Potts and Chip in object form, I have tried my best to do a halfway decent Disney-style self-portrait, and I'd love your opinions on whether I did myself justice!!

Ok so itās not in passing I think Iām fully back into Beauty and the Beast and absolutely losing my mind about it. Lots of stuff coming still, once I get drafts done

How I Filled in Beauty and The Beastās BIGGEST Plot Hole:
First off, if youāve watched both of the movies, youāll understand where Iām coming from:
1. There is NO WAY that Adam was 11 when the curse happened. The painting in the west wing shows a grown man, NOT an 11 year old!! That jawline? That hair? NOT a preteen. It wouldnāt be fair for a tweenage boy to be cursed just because he was rude- thatās just not nice. Making him be cursed as an adult because he was an arrogant douchebag? Yeah, that makes more sense.
2. And Lumiereās line during Be Our Guest, āTen Years weāve been rustingā mustāve been an exaggeration. Because heās dramatic. And weāve seen how dramatic this guy is! Heās got a flair for the theatrics!!
3. Plus, Iād like to add that the castle was actually FROZEN IN TIME!! And the Enchantress put it in a Groundhog Day like loop until Belle arrived and something like that. That explains why nobody aged, why the castle is still standing, and why it FEELS like ten years have gone by.
4. Also, the villagersā memories of the castle were erased; hence why nobody remembers it despite it literally being a few blocks away. This was actually confirmed in the live action remake.
Overall thoughts on how I closed this MASSIVE SINKHOLE of a Plot Hole? Including evidence from the 2017 remake.
This is without a doubt one of my favorite lines from this movie.
