Their Nashville Hot Fried Chicken is some of the best fried chicken I’ve eaten in a long time. It’s super crispy, super juicy, and super meaty. You can choose your heat level, all the way from medium up to ‘blow your head off hot’, but I stuck to a medium, which still brought some amount of heat. The traditional way of serving Nashville Fried Chicken is with a piece of bread underneath, and it soaks up all the juices, and you get a nice thick piece of bread with this. You can go for half a chicken, as pictured, or the whole bird. There’s also a chicken sandwich available, plus sides such as pickles, Mac & cheese, and fries. If you can’t stomach 4 pieces then there is a meal deal option that comes with 2 pieces and sides. No booking is necessary, so you can drop in and grab a table. 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 | This months @honestburgers special is an absolute cracker, you’ll want to try this one. Thai Fried Chicken is a collaboration with chicken legends @wingmanschicken. It’s a free range buttermilk chicken thigh, honey sriracha glaze, Thai slaw, crispy shallots, American cheese, and ranch mayo. It’s definitely the best chicken collaboration Honest have done. The chicken was crispy, but was also such a big cut of thigh, you won’t go hungry after this one. But the flavours were so on point, with the ranch mayo being my favourite part. I loved the glaze too, and crispy shallots are one of my favourite things to have in a burger for texture. This special will run until the beginning of April, I don’t have an exact date, but it’s deffo worth having. It’s also made me realise that I haven’t been to @wingmanschicken since they opened in kilburn 2 years ago. Crispy breaded chicken thigh, smokey Miso mayo, sweet & sour slaw, katsu ketchup, sour chillies, crispy onions, and coriander. Asian flavours and ingredients always go so well in a burger, and everyone loves a Katsu, don’t they?
