Legendary Jazz virtuoso Chet Baker during a session for âMy Funny Valentineâ in 1952. Mr. Baker, nicknamed "The Prince of Cool" by Charlie Parker during the height of the San Francisco â50s, led a brilliant, tortured life. His most famous work, a live album entitled âChet Baker in Tokyoâ featuring âAlmost Blueâ was released a year before his death in 1988.
