Thank you sooooo much translating dream eater guide! Megumi tachikawa is my favorite author and artist! Would love to see more of her works in English. Hot typhoon and I'm collecting her other works in Japanese too.
Thank you for the support! I've had a lot of fun translating Tachikawa's works; she has a way with prose that makes it challenging (in a good way) and fun to translate.
I'm definitely still looking at translating more of her work, since it's super frustrating seeing the gap between how good her prose is and how badly her work has been treated (and thus perceived) in English. 💦 Hot Typhoon is on my radar as well, partially because it's short and partially because it's currently the only one of her published serials to have not been translated at all, but it's also a toss-up between that and Cyber Idol Mink, for which the Tokyopop translation is bad enough that you could argue it's in an even worse situation. If only I had more free time in the world...
