it's so crazy how quickly the beginning of the show moves and how fucking breathtaking it is. we're taken on a RIDE through peacefield, lachryma, spirit, per aspera and faith man. high high energy!!!

actively cheered during the per aspera evil laugh. i'm so glad he's doin that. like seeing his TEEF when it happens... what da fuck.

phantom was adorably shy. he came up to the front but had his head down. his big ol' top hat hid his face for the longest time during his slow lil walk. what a lil mans. he has utter control over the crowd. so so cool to see.

papa came out to do his lil how are YOUUU crowd bit and was like "we've never been here before :D". he went on about how he is an unemployed person... and how he celebrates christmas. even though it may be weird for a guy like him to do that. said maybe he doesn't celebrate it for the right reasons! and that he doesn't like gifts

talked about how times are dark. it's january, the holidays are over. but said that it would be light again. shout out to the people in the crowd who yelled "fuck ice!"!!!

i love what is happening with satan prayer these days. he really was like you guys don't know the words but i'm gonna TEACH you. "HEAR! OUR SATAN PRAYER! OUR ANTI-NICENE CREED! HEAR! OUR SATAN PRAYER! FOR THE COMING! OF SEED!" so silly but also it was so fun, booty shakin. i love this song too, always so cool to hear it live.

i feel like we were really hyping up the ghouls. whenever they would come to the front they would get all feral!!!!! bc we were also going FERAL!!!!!!!

inky SNATCHED a pick dew threw at her. dew also blew a kiss to lemmie, like a real nice this one is for yOU kiss. he also threw ME a pick but it hit me and bounced off and i was like SECURITY MAN PLEASE GET THIS PICK FOR ME. and when he handed it to me i lifted it in the air like that one pic of pope francis and the eucharist.

year zero was where things really got nuts and we got papa's attention. he stopped singing and looked at us so i was like this is when he waved at me before so then i waved and then we ALL were waving and he waved back!!! and he was like lookin at us, giving us thumbs up and then he did his lil "pay attention to the ghoul being talented my friends" nudge and we were like yessir.

the eye contact continued into he is. like serious eye contact, mainly to inky and lemmie tho!! at one point he was walking backwards and just maintaining that insane spooky eye contact. did not even BLINK. i don't think i'll ever forget what that looked like. and i think my fav look of perpetua's is this one. the no mitre and the bone cassock. wow. wowowow.

at the END of mary on a cross was another big big interaction. he did his lil thing where he tries to get the ghouls to stop playing but they don't. he looked at us. we were like DO IT MAN! and he was like ok ok, tried again and it didn't work. grumpy man, stompy. we were like you got this!! he was like watch this, i got this. still doesn't work. so finally eventually he does get them all to stop with a big arm motion and he looked up at us and we were like THUMBS UP BUDDY YOU DID IT!!!

for dance macabre, he was nOT saying wobble. he was saying anything BUT wobble. v does not say wobble. told us to shake our tushes.

epic one more time for freedom moment during square hammer.

when he finished doing his end pose. the lights came up and he looked up at us. and we were like ahhh love love!!!! and oh my god. his mouth. the side of it twitched up like oooo he wanted to smile so bad but he was trying not to!!! trying to hold up that mysteriousness but we saw you man. we know you love us.

lemmie and inky told him thank you and he was def very moved. noticeably.

just a wonderful time really. like the lights and the vibes were perfect. i could really appreciate some of the little things. the break during umbra where the ghouls are lounging. the lights man. the way they rotate and at one moment i was like is this what it feels like to be on mushrooms bc they were all swirly!!! like the way they shone. i can't describe it.
